Terms of use
Effective October 5, 2026
Yonder is provided by The Basic Software Company. These terms cover its classroom, AI, credit and publishing features. Questions can be sent to akeilsmith3@gmail.com. Our privacy notice explains how information is handled.
Who can use Yonder
Learners must be at least 13. Teachers must be at least 18. Learners under 18 need a parent or guardian’s permission. Teachers are responsible for having authority to invite learners and manage their classroom information. Yonder does not support under-13 use.
Accounts and classrooms
Keep sign-in credentials, return PINs and class codes private. Do not impersonate another person or access work without permission. Teachers manage class membership, sessions and AI allowances. Ending a session or removing a learner can restrict access to work; it does not automatically erase stored records.
Your work and AI assistance
You are responsible for materials you submit and for having the rights to use them. You permit Yonder and its service providers to process those materials to provide the features you request, including AI assistance and hosting when you publish. This permission does not transfer ownership of your original materials to Yonder.
AI can make mistakes, produce unsuitable content or generate code that does not work. Review and test outputs before relying on or publishing them. Outputs may not be unique and may involve third-party rights. No particular learning outcome or uninterrupted availability is guaranteed.
Acceptable use
Do not use Yonder to harm or harass others, expose private information without permission, create malicious software, infringe intellectual-property rights or break applicable law. Do not bypass access controls or usage limits. We may restrict misuse to protect the service and other users.
Publishing
A published website is accessible at a public URL. Review all generated content, images, links and code before publishing. You are responsible for the materials you publish and any third-party services you choose to use. To request removal of a published site, contact us with its URL.
Prepaid AI credits
Teachers buy prepaid credits through Stripe Checkout. The available packs are $10, $25, $50 and $100. Recorded AI usage is charged at 1.5 times its recorded provider cost. Actual cost varies by request. Authorized learner activity uses the responsible teacher’s credits, subject to classroom allowances.
Purchasing credits does not create a subscription. Review the amount shown at checkout before paying. Credit and usage history is available in your account. For billing errors or refund requests, contact us with the payment details. Requests are reviewed individually, subject to applicable consumer rights. An approved refund reduces the corresponding credit balance.
Stopping use and data requests
You can stop using Yonder at any time. Contact us about account closure, access to stored work or deletion. The privacy notice explains current retention and request handling. Do not rely on Yonder as the only copy of important work.
Changes and statutory rights
We may update these terms as the service changes. The current version shows its effective date. Where required, material changes will be presented for notice or acceptance. These terms do not remove rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
